Robert E. Mattatall is the Chief Executive Officer of Mattatall Signs. Since the company’s inception in 1979, Bob has been involved in every facet of the business including design, fabrication, installation and most of the firm’s administrative functions. Today, Bob’s primary role is an advisor to Sr. Management on day-to-day operational and management issue and to administer a few of the firm’s key accounts. Bob has always carried a passion for Associations and how they contribute to an individual’s career and a company’s success.
During his career, Bob has held many positions within both the Sign Association of Canada and the International Sign Association. A sampling of these are:
In addition to Bob’s commitments within the association world, he also has found time to serve on several National and Provincial Educational Boards, Industry specific Task Forces and Steering Committees; The Halifax Board of Trade; Halifax Chapter’s of both The Awesome Foundation and 100 Men Who Give a Damn; St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church and other locally operated not-for-profit organizations. Outside of work Bob enjoys spending time with his wife Shauna and dog Cooper at their cottage on the South Shore. Robert has two wonderful children, Meaghan and Rob, and five grandchildren.
