Mattatall Signs takes a leap forward in production technology with the acquisition of the "Accu-Bend" System [FALL 2006]




In the fall of 2006 Mattatall Signs upgraded its toolset with the purchase of an Accu-Bend system, the world's only fully automatic, computer controlled channel letter bending and assembly machinery. With it, MSL becomes part of an exclusive few in the region to possess the technology, putting its production capabilities for illuminated and non-illuminated channel letters well above the average sign company in Atlantic Canada.

"There are two main advantages the Accu-Bend gives us" says John McNeil, production manager, "the overall cost to produce even single sets of channel letters is significantly reduced, and our capabilities to fill volume orders of multiple units is better than ever."

A few employees watch closely as an Accu-bend technician demonstrates the ease of use of the Accu-bend's sister machine, the "Accu-clinch".
